SPECIAL EVENTS

The official dedication of the newly installed Motus Wildlife Tracking Tower and and celebration of birds through presentations, performances, and interactive activities.

The official kick-off of Long Island Game Farm’s 55th year anniversary and the grand opening of the Woodland Trail with a Trail Trot.

The Motus Tracking Tower was made possible through the generosity of Marlene Vichroski in memory of her husband Tom.

The Motus Tower at the Long Island Game Farm is part of an international network tracking migration patterns of birds and flying mammals, providing invaluable data and enabling researchers to gain insight into migration patterns and habitat usage across Long Island and beyond. (motus.org).
